| For over thirty years, Dr. Miller has made her offices accessible to the hearing impaired so that they may receive barrier-free eyecare. Dr. Miller performs examinations on her deaf patients utilizing manual sign language so that total communication and understanding is comfortably achieved. Many deaf and hearing-impaired patients have been coming to see her since they were in school at Gallaudet College and are now bringing their children to Dr. Miller to be examined! Deaf patients can phone Eye Associates using a TDD, telecommunication device for the deaf, to make appointments, schedule follow up eyecare, or inquire about their prescriptions.
